The first thing you have to do before starting any Bathroom remodeling work and especially that of the bathroom, is to ask yourself what you do not like about your current bathroom.

The first thing to take into account are the dimensions of the bathroom according to its use, if it is the one in the main room, if it is the hallway, if it is the visitor or even if it is the service one. There are only four possibilities in this regard

- It is too large
- It is the right size
It Could work better if it is integrated into another environment by closing one door and opening another, it involves many relocation of sanitary parts and therefore pipes
The first two and the third involve demolition works that are only recommended if they are essential to achieve our design goals. In this case, the participation of a professional is essential, since you may find yourself with a pipe at the time of demolishing, either electricity or plumbing, which can cause serious complications if you do not have the knowledge and especially experience to solve problems of this type.
In this article we are going to focus on the third on the list: the bathroom has the appropriate dimensions and therefore the bathroom remodeling refers to the internal part of the space. We are talking about the Bathroom Interior Design project.
Choosing the Coatings: Ceramic, porcelain.
Everyone has their preferences regarding the color theme. However, it must be taken into account that if the bathrooms are not very large, it is always advisable to use a light color palette. This will allow you more lighting and a feeling of space.
The color and size of the sanitary pieces is important to obtain a harmonious and proportionate environment.
The sanitary pieces should not be excessively large in relation to the space, since we will obtain a disproportionate space. As for the color, they can be the same color as the ceramic, or within the same range, a little darker. Sanitary parts should not stand out too much in color. You always have to try to harmonize and ensure a relaxed atmosphere.
Another good option to give more interest to the bathroom environment is to select the floor with a color a little darker than the walls, but always using the same range.
When to renew the pipes?
As a general recommendation, it can be said that after 15 years of use of the property, if a bathroom remodeling job is to be undertaken in bathrooms or kitchens, it is advisable to renew the pipes.
It is important that you know that the pipes that are renewed are the ones that are embedded in the walls, especially those with white water that are the most susceptible to future filtration problems.
Those that go through the floor normally are not renewed, since these are more protected with the concrete that is used when emptying the floor slabs.
When is it necessary to relocate the Sanitary parts?
The sink must be at least 45 cm. of a wall or obstacle so that its use is comfortable. If space permits, and we are planning to remodel it, you may consider relocating it by moving it a few inches to its proper location. These types of works are not complicated and the whole issue of pipes is resolved on the wall.
A dramatic change, also in the bathroom, is the placement of a so-called “wall-to-wall” mirror over the sink, instead of using the standard “hanging” mirrors.
The change is spectacular due to the feeling of spaciousness and lighting that we are going to achieve. In this case, the location of the overhead cabinet and the lighting of the sink must be well defined.
You should also bear in mind that there is generally an outlet on the sink, so it is recommended that the mirror be placed on it, and on the listener, if its use has been considered to show it off.
